Adonis Emmanouil Fragkakis is Co-Founder and Director of ZEBS International Business School and President & Co-Founder of Zurich Elite Business School (ZEBS), a Swiss-based management boutique focused on industry-driven, real-world business education.

With more than 25 years of international leadership experience across the Higher Education, EdTech, AI-driven Learning, Technology, and Consulting sectors, Adonis is widely recognized for pioneering innovative, career-focused education models that bridge academic excellence with real-world industry needs. His work today strongly focuses on AI-driven education innovation, employability, workforce transformation, and the future of globally accessible higher education.

He is particularly focused on how artificial intelligence is redefining the future of education, employability, and global workforce development.

Nearly two decades ago, he developed one of the world’s first hands-on MBA concepts focused on practical, in-demand, and career-relevant skill development — long before experiential and applied learning became mainstream trends in global business education. Through this vision, he established strategic collaborations with leading international organizations across sectors including Technology, Financial Services, Management & Technology Consulting, Automotive, Energy, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, and beyond.

As an executive coach and leadership expert specializing in High-Performance Management, Adonis has coached more than 500 executives across 20+ industries, supporting senior leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in unlocking performance, leadership capability, and strategic growth.

In parallel, he is an active angel investor in the education sector, with investments in seven universities and colleges across Europe, a European awarding body, and several companies in technology consulting, financial services, and fintech.

Adonis has also advised international universities, colleges, accreditation organizations, and HR-focused initiatives as Executive Board Advisor, contributing to institutional strategy, innovative program development, international expansion, operational optimization, and accreditation processes.

Previously, he served as Lead Inspector for one of the United Kingdom’s largest accreditation councils, where he directed inspections and accreditation procedures for international higher education institutions. He additionally led and supported state accreditation processes for EU higher education institutions.

Since 2017, Adonis has been actively involved in Africa’s education and employability landscape, while since 2020 he has significantly expanded his activities across APAC, India and broader emerging markets, developing expertise in scalable, internationally accessible education models for high-growth regions.

Beyond his work in education and business, Adonis has also been active in elite sports development. He served as Board Member and Head of the Tennis Department at one of Germany’s most traditional tennis clubs. Under his leadership, the academy was awarded “Best Tennis Academy of the Year” in Germany, and he personally coached several top-ranked junior players in Baden-Württemberg — further strengthening his expertise in talent development, leadership psychology, and high-performance culture.

Adonis is also an international keynote speaker and Professor of Leadership & Strategy at ZEBS International Business School. His teaching focuses on Applied Leadership, Strategy, and Real-World Leadership Skills at MBA, EMBA, and Executive Education levels.

Prior to his entrepreneurial and academic career, he worked as a management consultant for global organizations including Mercedes-Benz and Siemens, leading projects in strategy, business transformation, reorganization, process optimization, and business development.

His academic background spans Engineering, Business, and Finance. He studied Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University and Business at Steinbeis Hochschule Berlin, Kelley School of Business, and The University of Kitakyushu. He further pursued Executive Education in Finance at The Wharton School.
